Greetings and welcome to my online office serving residents of the 65th District. Our district is home to some of the most vibrant, diverse communities and strong, hardworking families and local businesses in the Chicago metropolitan area.
The 65th District serves all or parts of Des Plaines, Park Ridge, Mt. Prospect, Niles, Rosemont, Harwood Heights, Norridge, and the 41st Ward of the City of Chicago. I have been privileged to serve as your State Representative since 1993 and have represented the current district boundaries since 2002.
My priorities include revitalizing our state economy to help spur local job growth and economic expansion, reforming our property tax system to relieve some of the heavy burden on working families and those on fixed incomes, restoring integrity and trust to Illinois government, and ensuring that the most vulnerable among us continue to receive top-quality health care and human services from our local providers.
We face many challenges as a community, as a state, and as a nation. However, I believe that the ingenuity and determination of our people and the enduring strength of our shared values will enable us to make progress in improving the quality of life for our families. Together there is nothing we cannot accomplish. As your voice in the Illinois General Assembly, I pledge to continue to represent your needs and priorities in Springfield and deliver the most responsive quality government services to our families.
